It was sophisticated and intellectual which I believe only attracts a limited audience. I appreciate the acting and cinematography. This musical score was intense which increased the dramatic emotional content.

Actors were wonderful. Plot was a mess. When it was over, people stood up, looked around, and starting asking "what was that all about?" I will have to read the spoilers to try to figure it out.

It’s a well done movie. The cinematography is fascinating. The sound design is creative and interesting. The characters are complex. The subject matter is very heavy and there are no good guys in the story, besides Frederick. I found the characters to be insufferable to listen to. Overall, it did not make a fun watch and I know the subject matter isn’t supposed to be fun. It was frustrating to watch for how well it was done.

I would recommend the show to others just to get their opinion about the movie. The movie is a slow start and does not end with a good ending. It ends to let you draw your own conclusions about it.
