Great sequel

Very exciting and the 2.5 hours flew by. However, story was sacrificed for the action. It should have been a 3 hr movie in order to fill in gaps in the story. A good movie could have been a great movie.

Great way to end the franchise

Epic in scale. Beautifully staged battles and action in general. The film has crisp cinematography and grand production design that transports you into the period setting. Paul Mescal and Denzel Washington are highlights, Mescal’s performance being particularly captivating. From a story standpoint the film is a little paint by numbers and lacks the emotional punch of the original.
