Superbly sui generis.

I absolutely loved it. I was familiar with some of their music, but in my youth (I'm 67 now), except for the Beatles, Rolling Stones and a few other mega acts, I really didn't pay much attention to who the bands were, so I was surprised to discover, through this film, who Sparks are AND how much of their music I knew over the years and never even was aware was by just one band (or 2 brothers). I am IN LOVE with them now and will be making a point of going back and investigating a lot of their music that I am not familiar with.\r\rAnd what a loving homage this film is...honestly perfect!

Fun + poignant, beautifully done. I only wish I'd known about them for all the decades before now.

Really interesting story about a band I've somehow never heard of (I am millennial trash, sorry!). I'll be listening to Sparks all day tomorrow. Great film.
