I'd describe the movie as Hansel and Gretel as told through an Evil Dead filter, with a touch of Bird Box/Quiet Place. It wasn't bad, it just lacked a strong storyline outside of "Stay on the rope". The movie just meandered a bit too much, and while I appreciate, no, enjoy, a movie that isn't filled with exposition, it could use a few more hints dropped, or some idea of where the true threat came from. The main cast did a terrific job, so no complaints with the acting. I can't say I wouldn't recommend it, I'd just recommend it to a few horror afficianado friends.

There was a good level of suspense. I wish there was more action and a better explanation for the evil presence
