One Battle After Another strikes a miraculous balance, pairing profound themes and moments of sincere social commentary with memorably eccentric characters and story beats that keep the movie weird enough to never feel remotely polemical. The result is a film that is as fast-paced, funny, and relentlessly entertaining as any that is likely to be released this year, but that also has something to say about power dynamics, political activism, and the prescient ambivalences that shape how one finds purpose in both a society and a family.

10/10 Soundtrack amazing Acting flawless Only gripe would be making it 5-10 shorter

This was a go-go, gritty, intense action thriller from start to finish, but much more than that; it was an honest, emotional look into the American psyche of today, tied together by desire, compulsion, depravity, greed, corruption, fearlessness, betrayal, trust and ownership. I was glued to my seat for the entire 2 hours and 40 minutes, not knowing what to expect and delighted by the film's plot twists. This is going to get some big Oscar nods, me thinks.

Compelling, intense, on the edge of your seat cat & mouse chase about lack of integrity, love & equity within a tainted and dark underbelly of controllers in power positions.
