Very slow

Very slow movie, but enjoyed the fact that it was true story.

Maguire did a great job of acting but the movie dragged. Having lived through the events in the movie, I probably had more of a connection than younger folks...but that didn't help the movie. It delved into so many aspects of life then: religious, political, societal...plus the demons that Bobby fought inside. It was just ok...

While the story was compelling and the acting top notch, the execution of the film was all over the place and very choppy. Especially unnerving was the abrupt ending, which compressed the last 30 years of a strange life into an extremely short series of slides with subtitles explaining the epilogue of Fischer's life after game six in Iceland.
