In my opinion the film was good.

Entertaining, if a little over-indexed on the action scenes. Would have sat through another 20mins of quality story telling. Feels like a setup for a series featuring the kids.

It was pretty good. Awesome CG. I do think you might get more out of it if you watch the previous movies.
