Average....humorous at times.

The story unfolds too slowly and lacks originality, The protagonist is not very likeable@@

Venom was a nice attempt to branch out from the Spider Man universe. Unfortunately, it ended up being a more entertaining version of the last Avengers movie. It seems like the last couple of Marvel movies are copying from one another as far as the set up, plot, and the villain. It would be nice if future Marvel movies try to do what Deadpool and Logan have done. Sometimes, going against the grain pays off.

The movie was a good effort in introducing Venom onto the big screen for real. It does remove the image of Spider-Man 3. Tom hardy did a great job as Eddie Brock. The movie would have done better with a larger budget and more time to flesh out some of the subtle elements.
