It was an okay movie...great idea behind it because it is very topical but lacked a good "twist"

I gotta be honest, this film isn't terrible. There's solid editing and a great hammy performance from Peter Stormare. I also rather liked the main storyline with KJ Apa, but all the stuff with Alexandra Daddario and Bradley Whitford was needless fluff. Having said that, I must ask whether this film should have been made in the first place. I think STX is taking advantage of the COVID crisis to peddle this entertainment, and therefore I cannot recommend that anyone pay $20 to watch this (I caught an advanced screening). Maybe wait till this is on Netflix to give it a watch. Also, in an alternate universe, KJ Apa would be our current Spider-Man instead of Tom Holland. He definitely shows here he has the dramatic and comedic chops to pull it off.

I think it's too early for this subject matter.
