This movie does well with making a classic and overused form of writing genuinely work and feel fresh with emotional moments feeling real and comedy being appropriate in certain scenes. The characters were very well written the way they all bounce off of each other and characteristics that make them memorable. Each scene felt like a genuine mission in a big quest from the game behind the movie D&D

Great production design, filmed on real locations which made visual effects better. Solid story. Much better than most marvel films or other action blockbusters out there. The movie trailer is misleading

It was the most fun I have had at the movies all year. Great humor and doesn't take itself too seriously
