Great movie depicting a dystopian society and the character’s battling survival, interesting bonds, complicated dynamics and the power of friendship and having humanity

My friend and I absolutely loved discussing this movie on the car ride home. It was a very good spin on the book, which we had both read. Our only complaint was the last 30 minutes felt a bit rushed in the way that characters who rarely talked would have an engaging dialogue only to then fall over. This happened to the last few characters and while we understood the need to shorten the book fleshing out characters, we felt it would’ve been better to sprinkle some of these conversation in the middle.
