As someone who is normally scared of horror movies, I can say that it was the perfect amount of scary. I wasnt too terrified that I had to close my eyes the whole time but I did get a few screams in. I enjoyed the story as well.

Another killer Scott Derrickson Pink Floyd needledrop \r\rThis was VERY strong.\rEthan Hawke is used sparingly in the film, but he's so good you feel and dread his presence throughout. Both lead children are absolute scene stealers as well\r\rIt would have worked almost as well without the supernatural aspect, though I feel that added a nice, fresh element (and some A+ jump scares)

I thought it was a good movie. It kept me wanting to know what happens next. A very different role for Ethan Hawke but he played the part very well!
