Outstanding. Fantasia eas fenomenal

A good movie, tho some of the dialogue was impossible to hear.

My mother and I went to see The Color Purple last night and loved it. The music and the passion and the passion behind the performances were phenomenal. Sophia was my favorite. The only thing was the time frame of the movie, it seemed to go by so quick. 4 stars, especially for the performances.

Excellent performances and story, although some of the song/scene transitions did not translate well from stage to screen.
