While all the other Hobbit & LOTR franchise movies have lived up to the hype and anticipation, this one left a bit to be desired. I won't play spoiler and provide details, I'll just say I expected more from the battle scenes & a physical appearance from the "bad guy" *shrugs* ah well... Good movie, just not great.

It was very well done. Go see it if you are a fan of the series. It shows well on the big screen.

Great send off for the series. Peter Jackson worked very hard to make the hobbit a part of the lord of the rings series, and the end result is a single 6 movie series instead of 2 trilogies. Great job Peter Jackson!

Action packed, but they killed the Dragon too soon
