My opinion on this movie is that it has extremely poor acting and a very shallow storyline. The characters, especially Harriet Tubmma, seemed so robotic and stale. The ending was extremely anti-climatic. Much more could have been done to show the brutality of slavery. I found the scene of a Black slave catcher brutally beating and murdering a Black woman as an attempt to once again portray the African-American male as vicious, cruel, and treacherous. This was a poorly made movie in so many ways!

I was unable to see film. We waited over an hour to enter. We walked in, sat down and was asked to leave because we were sitting in a "Reserved Seat"? There's got to be a better way!We will return -- to a different theater, to see this film.

85% was reserved for media. There was no room for us so we left. Shocked! Terrible procedure.
