Tender, gentle film returning us to history from different cultural experiences (Japanese, Icelandic), with great music and design elements, very pleasing and charismatic lead actors, art house hit

The film was refreshing as it dealt with an adult subject matter and actually allowed the viewer to explore the emotional aspects of the circumstance. It is a slice of life where family issues reign as the anchor of issue and pain. The reconciliation was as refreshing and poignant. Great Film!!
