House of Cards is in my top 10 list of best scripted series. In my opinion Robin Wright’s calm, but passionate portrayal of Claire Underwood was one of the highlights of the series. This movie to me is a story about ones will to continue on with life while searching for purpose. While beautifully shot with excellent performances, the story seemed to be lacking some buildup to allow you to go on the ride with the character.

It demonstrated true heartache and depression and the power of human kindness.
