The scenery was gorgeous! But that was kinda the only thing I enjoyed for the first half of the movie. Once her relationship with Miguel started to develop it became more interesting, but I didn’t necessary find her struggle to survive on her own compelling without knowing any of her backstory. I could tell that I was supposed to be intrigued by Emma and her mysterious past, but there were so few breadcrumbs that I wasn’t invested enough in her.

It was ok. It was a thoughtful experience of her life journey.
