Ultimately a disturbing film that seduces you with the expectation of a fulfilled revenge fantasy. Too close to reality to be forgotten easily.

Great films like this remind me that I still have a pulse. Writer/director Emerald Fennell creates suspense ingeniously. Mulligan deserves Best Actress.

I think any film that sparks a conversation has done its job. The visual art of the sets and hearing the director herself speak on its importance made me appreciate it more. I think its good to talk about a film like this and the reality of it. The only I say distraction or a aspect that didn't make it as impactful was the fact Nina was someone she was close with. It was more a personal revenge and anger than wanting to speak up for the victims. If nina was never attacked and it was another girl i wonder if she would of felt the same?

I liked it! I felt like there were some REALLY strong scenes with important themes and messages that needed to be showcased, and they were shown in a very creative way. However, I did feel like some of the writing and acting was not that great in the first third of the film. The last 2/3 were fantastic though!
