I enjoyed the movie, but I did not feel it was an accurate portrayal of the neighborhood it is supposed to represent. I expected a bit more history about the neighborhood. It was a pleasant experience, but it could have been based on a Latin community anywhere, not personal or specific enough to Washington heights.

It was good as far as musicals go, nothing too amazing though

It is a film for young people or die hard musical lovers.

If you enjoy musicals, then you will appreciate this.
