It was really sweet. Light on the drama- just a feel good family, and found family romance with some humor in a beautiful setting.

I thought that it was a cute movie. The acting fell flat at times but there was a good amount of humor in it.

The plot was good. This reminded me of a Hallmark movie, because of the many cliches. The connection between the main male character and the Italian family was not very clear. I find it interesting that the writers went out of the way to ensure that both the male and female lead are black. Regardless, it was well-made and had some good funny moments, as well.
