It's a great movie based on a real story that raises many questions.

Long, unrelenting movie about the suppression of Christianity long ago in Japan. Well written, acted and directed.

It was very thought provoking, and I appreciate having seen it.I understand it was there for a reason, but the drawn out violence and suffering were very hard to sit through.For the most part, the actors' performances were amazing. The portrayal of the Inquisitor did seem rather stereotypical, though.
