good movie, nice storyline.. really enjoyed it

Good movie. Wahlberg acted great as always. A little slow for me overall but it did have a good story line and there was also some humor in it so I would recommend it overall.

This movie turned out to be much better than I expected. It was well paced and quite entertaining. Mark Wahlberg did a great job playing the part of a pretty messed up (but adorably sarcastic and passionate) English professor with some major gambling issues. His scenes with John Goodman were pure cinematic gold. And the soundtrack was impeccable and completely addictive :)
