Good action scenes.

The rough parts out of the way - this is clearly setting up another sequel or trilogy. The audience knows 90% of the lore: how apes evolved and humans started dying out. That bit is slowly hashed out/revisited until the third act. Where Fans will be throughly surprised by where the future will be going. Kingdom’s two main characters have a lot of potential and are off to a great start.

First 1/3 of movie dragged. Much better as time went on

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes was a good movie in all aspects of what a movie should be. Thumbs up
