Something different for Gerard Butler. Not as action heavy as expected.

Intense. Brutally honest about the wages of war and the fleeting nature of alliances. Sad because of the death toll. Tragic for the people who are just trying live in the midst of violence in Afghanistan.\rThe cinematography was magnificent. Acting excellent, especially the two leads.\r\rAs an audience member, I left with all the ambivalence the movie conveyed.
