If you love slowburn mystery/crime thrillers, this is right up your alley. It's about a New York podcast writer who ends up investigating the sudden death of a random hook-up in Texas for the content at first until it becomes way more than that. A fish out of water dark comedy that deals with the current societal climate but not at the expense of any side as we get to see the extreme differences of cultures somehow work together. Whether it be the liberal political correctness or the conservative south's conspiracy theories. Novak's writing is as impressive as his past works but with depth now

Great concept and solid performances. Clever dialogue but the pace was a little slow. Perhaps a little too much dialogue.
