Really fun movie! The script is campy, but works out well for this action-comedy. First time seeing Bautista on screen with a romantic partner, and it was so cute it even made *ME* blush. The cinematography was great- loved loved loved the transitions and the stunt choreography was fantastic. Every character had something quirky to like about them/the scene, in my opinion. The comedic timing was great and had the entire theatre cracking up. The gore and kills were painful to watch (lot of "OOFS" from the audience), but it wasn't over-the-top disgusting. Already been recommending it to friends!

I've seen other Assassin movies. The Killer's Game unlike those movies is more light-hearted and comedic. The combination of extreme violence and light comedy does seem to work. And the romance element to the story is well executed and convincing. What didn't work, was opening theatre scene. Two young women sitting by me during the screening certainly seemed to enjoy the movie as well so I'd say this would a good 'Date Movie' that a guy can take his girlfriend to see so she can enjoy the comedy and romance.
