Relevant topic with interesting metaphors. Showed some of the hardships for refugees. Great cinematography with many stills or slow zooms. It left one to contemplate. An artsy film that I enjoyed but not all will. I’ll recommend the film to others as something a bit different with some subtle humor with an interesting story along with great cinematography impressions.

Touching story about the difficulty one faces when leaving their culture and family to seek a better life.Anyone thinking immigration is easy needs to see this. The grey skies and gloom really set the tone for the difficulty Omar faces leaving his family behind.I loved the line from his roomate that he carried his oud case like it was a coffin for his soul.
