Considering I love the original version of Stephen King’s Pet Semarang and I’ve read the book, I found this version to be just ok. I liked that it sort of stayed true to the original but changed it up w a few twists. It had a few “jump from your seat” moments but the plot twist at the end is what ruined it for me. It’s a movie that I would probably see again.

nice family thriller movie. It seems low budget but captured the main plot of the novel quite well. Ending was a bit abrupt; however, would recommend.

It had some good jump out of your seat moments,but not too terrifying that you can't sleep.
