As someone who grew up begging my mom for five more minutes of Sonic, I enjoyed it. It wasn’t perfect, it was clunky in places, and by the end I was ready for it. But overall, it was fun! Jim Carry killed it, and I ate up every over the top moment he brought. Will I watch this again and again, probably not. But did it make for a nostalgic silly evening, for sure!

This movie was surprisingly good. There were some cheesy parts but those were fair outweighed by the parr’s that made me laugh out loud. Great nostalgia for the SEGA games right from the beginning and a good setup for the sequel. I don’t want to ruin any of the plot; I definitely recommend seeing it for yourself.
