A different take on a family feel good film.

I prefer films without foul language however I understand the need to be true to the story when based on real events. The movie told a story of a world we don’t normally get to see. I appreciate the use of silence in the film as well. It was a very good story about a family’s live & loyalty.

It was a feel good movie. Nice story overall.

Although I pretty much figured out the ending, as far as Ruby getting into college, I thoroughly enjoyed getting there. I don't like subtitled movies, having to read takes away from watching, I understand the necessity in this movie (I would have preferred to watch the signing but I don't understand that). The cast was wonderful; the singing was enjoyable; and I cried twice.
