I like the premise of the storyline but it didn't really hold my interest. While at times i can enjoy foreign films this one seemed to require reading more captions in the beginning than I had anticipated. This is one I would be inclined to rent vs seeing in the theater.

What I liked: The story is beautiful and heartfelt. I love the concept of the father creating an elaborate road trip for his two sons to become closer together. This totally makes me think of the mismatched pair, road trip comedies of Tommy Boy and Due Date. Main characters acted well, great casting.\r\rWhat I didn't like: The scenes felt choppy and the film itself lacked a smooth continuity. Some of the scenes came out of left field (goat stealing and ethanol creation at a cabin). The comedy was hit or miss and sometimes felt contrived.

The premise was predictable with some twists.
