It seems to be truth about a prisoner and how we treated them in GITMO. Gives some answers about how we have some hope our justice system can be more of law than of man. More of a study film than of a entertainment piece. May help shape the future of military justice worldwide if show to the right people at the right times. I can see why it has a R rating as to where we want our children to learn about the level of goverment that can do these kinds of things. Plus let those who want to see it do it on their own.

Excruciatingly frustrating to see what the United States was willing to do to an innocent man without any real evidence. The Mauritanian was compelling, emotional, and had excellent performances from all. Really good film! Glad I was able to see it. Thank you. Would definitely recommend.

It was a heartbreaking story that needed to be told. Highly recommend. Great casting.
