LOVE, SIMON is a milestone for LGBT, especially those who are in the closet or coming out. LOVE, SIMON has endearing moments, you can feel how Simon's struggles to come to terms with his sexual orientation. Certain parts of the movie made me on the verge of tears, perhaps it hit too close to home. Unfortunately, the movie falls into several tropes and cliches. This cheapens the movie in my opinion
