My daughter and friends enjoyed it, would like to watch it again without the puppy jumping all over us!

I feel like the sound was off, I had to keep adjusting the volume up when there was no music to be able to hear the dialogue and when the music came on I would have to turn it down. I think during the songs the music was too loud to hear the voices. I think cutting certain songs was necessary but it didn't give us a chance to get to know all the characters in a deeper way.

As a fan of the original musical, I was a little let down by the changes from musical to movie. I found it a little jarring and it made the story have less cohesion. The added in plotlines were unnecessary and didn't make much sense in the grand scheme of things. Overall, I think it was a fun movie with amazing music and choreography. I think lots of people will enjoy it.

It tried to cover many stories so it ended up switching back and forth between all the neighborhood members without giving the viewer the time to get invested in any character's story.
