Wish i could have rewinded some parts

I really liked it - wanted to see Eugenio Derbez, who I have loved since Instructions Not Included but Emilia Jones was just amazing. Would have loved to hear more authentic accents (I went to school in Boston and was in Gloucester and that area for 6 weeks couple years ago) - but overall really enjoyed the film.

I loved the ending with the singer/ signing to her family. And I loved the opportunity to to open my eyes to the challenges that deaf persons face

Very real movie for how life can be for some people. This movie captures a family's lifetime of struggles into 2 hours. Allowed me to feel/understand the pains and struggles this family went through. A sense that I was in a foreign country trying to live amongst people that I could not communicate. The acting was excellent and results of the offscreen commitment by the actors paid off!
