It's like, 2 years too late. Everything it does successfully, marvel already did and they did it better. Fun Movie, but it doesn't break any new ground which makes it feel stale. The DCEU hasn't earned this story line for the flash.

Ironically, it moves at a good pace. Ezra Miller does a good job. The inclusion of previous stars and call backs evokes the desired pavlovian pleasure, though it lacks any real substance. The special effects are either strangely stylized or frequently bad. I also have significant ethical concerns about how the likenesses of Reeves and Cage were obtained and created. The script is a hackneyed mess.

I think the flash is a good movie, but is too similar to the Marvel cinematic universe with the whole multi-verse idea. I understand that that isn’t a new concept but they could’ve won a different route for focused on something else. I think that the flash is a fun time no alcohol required.

A fun flick with some old favorites making appearances.
