I liked it. Was funny and touching in certain places. \r

I thought this flix touching at times with lives and dreams deferred beset by political and borderland issues that destroy dreams, hopes and lives.\rThe humorous moments provided respite from the real issues of impossible and implausible situations including\rbigotry, racism, stereotypical thinking that keeps humanity caged in preconceived ideas about others.\rThe acting was riveting and real with intentional targeted timing between the two half brothers which drew them closer as the film proceeded.

The American brother character was terrible. could have been a good movie with that character played differently

Movie was a true bag of mixed nuts. Some good some bad. The good was the acting was terrific and there was some truly laugh out loud moments for my wife and I. The bad is while I understand it is popular in today’s society I do not agree with the negative and factually inaccurate portrayal of law enforcement particularly customs and border patrol. My wife said it best when she said the movie needed to figure out what it was; comedy, drama or political message. The writers never figured out what movie they were trying to make and missed the mark on all three genres.
