Overall, it honestly felt a little tone deaf and poorly timed. People are already not following stay at home orders as it is. They don't need a movie reinforcing their entitled and that the rules don't apply to them because they're "right" and the government is "mean and bad." Was decently shot and acted, given the circumstances.

I think that the shower scene with the lead actor KJ Apa should have been a few minutes longer. Maybe that would have gotten me more engaged in the movie.

The film attempts to entertain by using the worlds current situation to thrill us but fails. The trailer has more heart and than the actual film. At most times the story jumps from a relatable drama to an sci-fi action genre without establishing characters and or any real threat. For the most part the cast is stacked with talent that really isn’t given anything to work with. Maybe it’s just too soon to bring this real of a topic into the viewers home, or maybe just give us something more relatable without all the “one man takes on the government to save his girlfriend” plot.

The story behind the making of the movie is probably more interesting than the movie itself
