Need more Afro Latino representation and not play into colorism with white presenting Latinos. Liked the songs & story!

anyone who has seen the broadway show will not be able to enjoy this movie as much as someone who comes in blind. some of the changes were great but things like abuela’s passing, vanessa and usnavi’s relationship and the daca storyline that was half fleshed out made the second act of the movie rough and hard to follow. auto tune was a bit much. visuals and first act were amazing. overall enjoyed.

I loved the songs and the visuals of the movie. The only thing is I would of loved to see more representation for darker skin Afro Latinos.

I liked the movie and the songs. I hate that there was no closed captioning available made it hard to understand sometimes and hear. Would be nice to see more darker skinned representation and different body type representation not just tall and skinny women.
