I wanted to love it, but it was just ok.

The movie was okay. It did have some laughs but was fairly predictable.There were a lot of empty seats in the theatre.

Overall, the movie was great! It was cringe-worthy in the beginning with Deanna being super over-the-top in her Mom ways, but the movie changed when she had her makeover. Deanna was definitely more bearable and that scene in the restaurant was laugh out loud hilarious. All in all, an enjoyable movie.

Typical Melissa McCarthy. Wears you down into laughter by rolling out humour attempt after humour attempt.
