I liked, but not loved, it - it was beautifully filmed, but a little confusing to me. Slow paced, but in a thoughtful, elegant way -

A lovely period movie. Well acted and interesting plot twist.

Daniel Day Lewis’a performance is exceptional. Very good cinematography. Story is pretty horrible. No redeeming value. The trailer highlights a mystery of items sewn into dresses which is not really central to the story so one is left feeling short-changed on that front. I have told everyone I know not to go to this movie.

The story line was very slow. It was an okay movie. There are so many other good movies out to go to. This movie would appeal to costume designers or people who are in the theater.
