it was more enjoyable than I thought it would be. Not just a death movie but had a story line also.

The acting was absolutely horrendous. The male lead seemed like he should have been in a teen movies, and in regards to the female lead, I've seen more emotion from a tree. It killed any tension built up during serious moments. At times, the whole theater was laughing at her poor delivery. This movie is insulting to the source material.

It was ok. The plot was pretty good on how they tied the entire story together and provided some background. At times the acting was terrible. People next to us literally said "that's the worse acting I've ever seen". It was the scene where the main character and her boyfriend were looking over the scenes of "the movie". No real scary parts in the movie. I didn't even jump in my seat once.

I didn't really enjoy it. This was more dramatic/thriller/mystery. The ending seemed almost expected, and trying to write a story by adapting it to modern doesn't work as well with the VHS history. Overall, it was disappointing. The soundtrack was also not memorable.
