Well acted, directed and shot. Story confusing. Unsure if it was a comedy or what. It had funny moments but not enough of them. Seems it might be that the book was essentially unfilmable.

I was lost throughout the entire movie, I still do not understand what the movie was about. But it was very funny; the funny parts was the only thing that held my interest.

It was a convoluted story. The plot was secondary to setting a groovy mood. There was character development, without the customary conclusion. Felt a little robbed because so many questions went unanswered.

My husband and I saw this last week and neither one of us liked it. I don't normally have an issue with offbeat movies and am okay with Anderson's movies but wasn't feeling this one.
