The beginning was a little slow, but overall the movie was good.

A well done film that shows the challenges of children growing up and what could bring about a change in parental dynamics. Funny, well acted and a good date film. We enjoyed it.

Fans of Susan Sarandon and AJ Simmons will enjoy this movie. Light comedy . Would be great to go with your single daughter.

Sarandon as Marnie is perfect for the role of a widow who comes to grip with loneliness and change while focusing on others to bring a sense of purpose. Her struggling daughter Lori (Byrne) is also coping with her dads death, broken relationship and work. Add in love, tears, laughter and friends and you have an enjoyable movie for Mothers Day or any other day.
