I love The Matrix. I love the two sequels (Revolutions and Reloaded) a bit less but they have grown on me. The tone and quality of this one felt off, and I found the script to be very convoluted. I also felt that the newer characters, particularly Bugs, were underused and not giving rich characterization. The stakes for the conflict felt low. Felt like a downgrade in quality for the series.

Pretty bad. It had its moments in the third act. But the first forty minutes is pain incarnate.

I didn't like the story line of the movie. Whoever wrote the script need to be fired. The Matrix 4 could have been great, spent to much time on things that didn't make sense. The editing should have been better. I am so disappointed at this movie.

Not worth seeing.
