Excellent adaptation of a much loved classic. The casting was superb and on point for all characters. The unfolding of the story was well done going back and forth between significant events instead of just the regular chronology. The cinematography was breathtaking, New England was beautiful. The time period was beautifully captured in the clothing and set design. My only concern was the regional dialect use, there was none which would have made the film more realistic to the time period.
