Very good for a sequel!

A great story line and not extra scary but very thrilling!

As a Stephen King fan, this is the kind of adaptation I have been waiting for. The pacing was excellent, consistently moving the story forward. They did a great job condensing the story with a perfect blend of Kubrick’s The Shining and the novel versions of Doctor Sleep and The Shining’s original material that I feel both satisfied fans and did not lose newcomers. I loved this movie.

I think this movie actually made The Shinning make more sense. This film will now be in my "must watch" every year!
