For a horror movie, the movie didn’t reel me in as much as what the movie title did. The first movie was great and gave chills but than movie second movie Based on True Events seemed like it used various similar iconic horror movie scenes of the 80’d and 90’s.

the movie reminded me of throw away slashers from the 70s and 80s. It had some thrills but the story over all was lackluster and the end was a cop out.

Overall, I did not like the movie. It did not compare to the first one. I found the acting and actions of the actors in this movie to be poor and I did not enjoy the ending.

Over the top, not nearly as good as the original.
