I liked the movie becasue it seem to present the the Native American issues that arose during that era without really making a judgment. Instead, it allowed the story to slowly unfold showing how the characters themselves began to realize the futility of their previous approach to Native Americans. It is a very subtle exploration of consequences of the Native American treatment by our nation.

My husband and I both loved it. The powerful messsage on trust and forgiveness it displayed was what made the movie. Can’t wait till it comes out on video to buy it.

Quite thought provoking. The.voice in my head repeatedly the phrase "man's inhumanity to man." The performances were great; Christian Bale is so low key and powerful. I especially liked the ending!Thank you

To see how they were imprisoned the Indians taking land and mistreated women. And in the Indians turning helping them to staying alive.
